The emergence of the self-photographing surfer can be seen in all aspects of surf videos and photos in mags these days. From Timmy Turner’s Second Thoughts escapade to Ken “Skindog” Collins‘ deep barrel shots to Brian Conley’s eye-wetting travels, there are many a man exploring the wonders of surf expedition without a photographer and still getting exposure.
Here’s another solid addition to the self-photographed files with Marti Paradisis and jughead at Shipsterns Bluff getting a few drainers. And when you intertwine John Mellencamp, you’ve got a good clip.
So we want to know, with all this self-photographing going on, is the death of the surf photographer only a matter of time? Let us know in the comments below.

NO WAY!
but it's good to see knew angles and pov the surfers themselves get.
self photograhy is here to stay, BUT more importantly, SO are the real photographers.
