Who’s Fergal Smith you ask? The 21-year old son of an organic farmer grew up in County Mayo, Ireland, a half an hour from the nearest wave. After making a trip to Australia where he was coached at the High Performance Surfing Centre, he returned to Ireland and dedicated himself to seeking out the heaviest waves of consequence he could find. By the looks of this clip, mission accomplished!
