I consider myself a well-traveled surfer and am usually down to go anywhere, anytime. But as time gets harder to find and airlines charge more and more for surfboards, you gotta start trimming down your list of “places to go rip before I die.” That’s where the Azores come in. Situated nearly 1,000 miles off the coast of Portugal, the Azores get plenty of swell and being on an island, it’s always offshore somewhere. I wasn’t really sold on the place until hearing that National Geographic named the Azores as the second most beautiful archipelago in the world and seeing that hot little Euro number strutting the beach about 2/3 of the way through the clip. Despit the average looking surf, consider me sold. You?

Great video! I was wishing I had been able to see the surfing personally. The Azores Islands are a great destination and a relatively unknown spot for surfing.
