The second day of the ASP World Qualifying Series (WQS) 6-Star Prime Santa Surf Pro saw Round 1 come to completion in decreasing wind-blown two foot (0.5 meter) waves at San Juan with seven heats only being held. With the forecast showing the arrival of a new swell from Friday with a good chance of seeing its first pulses from tomorrow afternoon, officials decided not to get Round 2 started and wait for better conditions to send the world's best qualifiers in the water.

Sixteen men only remain in contention for the valuable 3000 ratings’ points going to the winner and the 2008 champion will be crowned tomorrow.
