The 2008 Xcel Pro Presented By Honolua continues Day 2 of 3 today, as the current north swell continues to bring in sets in the 8' to 10' (Hawaiian) range. Tradewinds returned and should remain offshore through the day.

A north swell kicked off the morning, bringing 8' to 10' (Hawaiian) faces at Sunset. Slightly disorganized and shifty peaks tested early-round riders looking to advance through into later heats, as conditions showed improvement through the day.

HALEIWA, OAHU, HAWAII - October 28, 2008 - Day 1 of the 2008 Xcel Pro Presented by Honolua is on today! A new North swell has arrived at Sunset in the 8' to 10' (Hawaiian) range, and is expected to build later in the day. The first heat paddles out at 8:00 AM (HST).
