The Surfing America Prime Series kicked off it's first season this past weekend with the running of the WSA Prime Series. Courtney Conlogue and Conner Coffin took top honors. Check out the photo gallery and full results.
While man-on-man heats can bring out the worst in some competitors, not so with the WSA Prime Series Invitational at Oceanside Harbor—the first ever event featuring the man-on-man format in the history of the WSA.
Regular season down, a man-on-man playoff to go. The titles were fought hard for on Sunday, especially the battle between Kolohe Andino and Ian Crane. And Nathan Carvalho makes a big statement. Check out the photos and full results.
WSA heads to the Huntington Beach Pier next weekend. It's a bit too far out for an accurate forecast, but Surfline is looking at some WNW swell activity for mid-week with the possibility for more on the weekend. They are also watching a storm now pulling together about half way between New Zealand and South America could set up another small S swell (180-190) for around the 6th-7th of March.
Double-time for three finalists, Courtney Conlogue's continued domination, first contest at Upper Trestles in over a decade, Nathan Carvalho throwing down, another Prime Series score, and a chocolate milk/mustard/pancake batter fight of epic proportions.
