Bahamian police said Tuesday they are trying to identify human remains found in the stomach of a tiger shark caught off the Exuma islands.

"I thought, 'I gotta get him off my leg,' so I pounded him. I was just hoping he wasn't going to chomp all the way through," he said.

Mr Clasen was hunting yellow fin tuna with fellow fisherman Cameron Kirkconnell, photographer D.J Struntz and film maker Ryan McInnis in the Gulf of Mexico when the encounter took place.

Some of the local boys were out at Teahupoo the other day cleaning the reef of the invasive Crown Of Thorn starfish when they checked their nets and found this huge tiger shark tangled up in the net.
