Santa Surf Pro Round 1 Completed, Top Seeds to Start Tomorrow

The second day of the ASP World Qualifying Series (WQS) 6-Star Prime Santa Surf Pro saw Round 1 come to completion in decreasing wind-blown two foot (0.5 meter) waves at San Juan with seven heats only being held. With the forecast showing the arrival of a new swell from Friday with a good chance of seeing its first pulses from tomorrow afternoon, officials decided not to get Round 2 started and wait for better conditions to send the world’s best qualifiers in the water.
