Wiggolly Dantas claimed the Sooruz Lacanau Pro title downing fellow countryman Alejo Muniz in the 35-minute final to achieve his best result of the year and his second ASP Men’s Star-Series title

Joan Duru (Ondres, FRA), 20, won the ASP World Qualifying Series (WQS) 6-Star Sooruz Lacanau Pro today in France after defeating fellow finalist Travis Logie (Durban, ZAF), 30, in consistent clean four foot (1.2 meter) waves in front of a massive cheering crowd.

Clean three foot (one meter) waves, some sun and light winds were the setting of Day 4 of the ASP World Qualifying Series (WQS) 6-Star Sooruz Lacanau Pro, and it was another day of great action at the French surf town. Round 4 was completed in front of a massive crowd and 24 men only remain in contention for "the French Pro" title.

Top seeds and barrels attracted massive crowds for Day 3 of the ASP WQS 6-Star Sooruz Lacanau Pro and it was another marathon day with 25 heats wrapped up in clean four to five foot (1.2 to 1.5 meter) waves.
