San Diego Trade Show
The twice annual Action Sports Retailer Convention that has called San Diego home for at least 20 years is calling it quits, citing difficult economic times.
Although the ASR San Diego trade show is a shell of it's former self (remember when we all had hotel rooms and spent thousands in the name of "networking"?), all is not broken and companies still hire hot chicks to man the booths and roam the halls of the San Diego Convention center.

While the bi-annual "Action Sports Retail" trade show was a bit slimmer than in years past, those who did attend were greeted by a convention center full of surf/skate industry big-wigs who are hell bent on kicking this recession in the ass and having fun while doing so.
