West Coast Wins In Marines Vs. Marines Battle At Red Bull Rivals Surf Event...

For the second year in a row, the South Shore takes down the North Shore is an-all Oahu battle for island bragging rights.

Red Bull Rivals is a one day surf event pitting Oahu’s legendary shores, North Shore and South Shore, against each other. Top surfers from each shore will battle it out in a head-to-head surf competition for ultimate island bragging rights. To keep things fair, the event will again be held on the Eastside of Oahu at Sandy Beach, which is neutral territory.

Red Bull Rivals is a one day surf event pitting Oahu’s legendary shores, North Shore and South Shore, against each other. Top surfers from each shore will battle it out in a head-to-head surf competition for ultimate island bragging rights.

Last Saturday, Red Bull Rivals brought shoulder to head high sets throughout the day. Scores were close and the rivalry heated up as the day went on, but South County came out on top.

This past weekend the inaugural Red Bull took to the sunny and rippable peaks of Sandy Beach to witness the first ever Red Bull Rivals event pitting the best surfers from the South Shore of Oahu versus those from the North Shore.

Ezekiel Lau, Carissa Moore, Keanu Asing, Dustin Cuizon, Jason Shibata and more from the Red Bull Rivals South Shore crew gear up for the match-up with the North Shore this Saturday.
