Quiksilver ISA World Junior Surfing Championship
The Quiksilver ISA World Junior Surfing Championship is the biggest surfing event in the world for under-18 surfers, considering the surfing level, amount of competitors and participating countries. It is the pinnacle of the career of every junior surfer around the planet.
The Aussies have taken the gold for the fourth year in a row at the Quiksilver ISA World Junior Championships, with Dean Bowen and Tyler Wright both taking gold in their divisions. Hawaii's Keanu Asing came out on top in the Boys U16. Check out the wrap-up, photos, and highlights.
The sixteen representatives of the PacSun USA Surf Team depart today for Ecuador to compete in the 2009 Quiksilver ISA World Junior Surfing Championship, which takes place March 28 - April 5.
