The hopes of 13 ASP World Qualifying surfers of making the cut for the elite 2009 ASP World Tour were dashed at Sunset Beach today as they were eliminated from the O’Neill World Cup of Surfing.
SUNSET BEACH, Hawaii (Saturday, November 29, 2008) – Event organizers at the Roxy Pro at Sunset Beach have called competition off for the day, allowing the men to tackle the solid eight-to-twelve foot (3 – 4 metre) surf on offer at Sunset Beach today.
