Dark Fall, Alex DePhillipo and Andrew Gessler’s film about the southern New Jersey surf community, took home both the Best Feature Film and Viewers Choice awards at the third annual New York Surf Film Festival (NYSFF). The festival was held last weekend, Sept. 24-26, at the Tribeca Cinemas in downtown Manhattan.

With three days of sold out screenings, over 2,500 people in attendance and one of the biggest swells of the year hitting the East Coast the stellar first year of the New York Surf Film Festival (NYSFF) wrapped up on Sunday with an Awards Ceremony and after party at the Redbull Space.

New York Surf Film Festival Presented by JetBlue Airways has put the final touches on the festival program which features twenty four films with filmmakers from the US, Australia, South Africa, Canada, Chile, Costa Rica, Spain, France, Ireland, and Peru.
