After three years, the Smith Optics Garden State Grudge Match belt is back in southern New Jersey, thanks to 21-year-old Zach Humphreys of Margate.
Straight outta New Jersey from Dark Fall Productions comes the highly anticipated Dark Fall, a film by Alex DePhillipo.
The first nor'easter of the year slams the Northeast and gives Sam Hammer his third Garden State Grudge Match belt—and New Jersey bragging rights. Check out the photos and wrap-up from Casino Pier, as well as some Long Island, NY gold.

16mm film, A Pleasant Surprise, and HD film, Dark Fall, are looking to break out from the Garden State in 2009 and into the bigger surf movie world. From the looks of it, they've got a lot of potential.
At most surf contests the waves are half the story. Good waves can make or break a competition. But that wasn't the case with the Chip Miller Surf Fest.
