Surfers from the four corners of the globe will gather together to represent their home countries on the international stage for an International Olympic Committee-recognized competition.

The Billabong ASP World Junior Championships steamrolled through the men’s Round 3 today before deciding the women’s ASP World Junior Champion in rippable three-to-four foot (1 metre) surf on offer at Sydney’s North Narrabeen beach.

Pauline Ado (FRA), 17, has just made ASP history as the first non-Australian female to claim the undisputed ASP Junior World Title, defeating opponent Bethany Hamilton (HAW), 18, in a hard-fought Final at the Billabong ASP World Junior Championships.
