Now that Joey Buran has stepped down, who’s your pick for the new coach of the PacSun USA Surf Team?

The “California Kid” Joey Buran is joining Jeff Hakman, Bruce Brown and Pat O’Connell as the 2009 inductees into the Surfers’ Hall of Fame, at 10 a.m. Friday, July 24 in front of Huntington Surf & Sport.

2009 PacSun USA Surf Team travel roster that will compete at the Quiksilver ISA World Junior Surfing Championship in Ecuador from March 28-April 5.

"Surfing America is deeply honored to have Coach Carroll lend his support," said executive director Mike Gerard. "This is a tremendous boost for the program and a once in a lifetime experience for the kids!"

Surfing America, the National Governing Body for surfing in the USA, is excited to announce that Pacific Sunwear has renewed its title sponsorship of the USA Surf Team for 2009, marking a fourth year of support.
