Dean Randazzo's Freeze For A Cause Benefit Surf Contest In New Jersey Saturday February 18, 2012.
The two potential ESA Easterns sweepers (Nick Rupp and Chris Tucker) both made it into the final today, which takes place tomorrow afternoon. We caught up with Chris today as part two of our "Resurrecting The Sweep" as the youth divisions pushed towards the final leg.
It wasn't the biggest nor the most perfect, but for East Coast surfers, the first hurricane of the season to whip up some real surf is a harbinger of wonderful things to come...
The Dean Randazzo Cancer Foundation is excited to announce that the 10th Annual “Surf for a Cause” surf and beach fest will be held on September 11, 2010 in front of Lucy the Elephant in Margate, NJ. “This is going to be the biggest and best event we have had to date,” said event chairperson/ DRCF president, Dan Cellucci, “there is really something for everyone this year.”
Airing Monday, May 10 at 9:00 pm Eastern Time (6:00 pm Pacific Time) and telecast three additional times, Maya Gabeira, Dean Randazzo and musical guest Dr. Dog will appear on “The Daily Habit.”
NYNJSurf.com is looking to take advantage of the season’s great waves and help raise much needed funds for the Dean Randazzo Cancer Foundation with the 2009 “Hurricane Surf for Dean!” contest
The annual event takes place May 2nd at McCullough's Emerald Links in Egg Harbor Township, NJ.
16mm film, A Pleasant Surprise, and HD film, Dark Fall, are looking to break out from the Garden State in 2009 and into the bigger surf movie world. From the looks of it, they've got a lot of potential.
This years Surf for Dean/Freeze for a Cause. It will be on December 27th or a no surf date being January 3rd. It will be on the North/South side of Casino Pier in Seaside Heights, NJ.
At most surf contests the waves are half the story. Good waves can make or break a competition. But that wasn't the case with the Chip Miller Surf Fest.
