On Sunday at Sunset we saw both Joel Parkinson and Mick Fanning make the final. Joel took the victory and Triple Crown lead. Now we wait till Pipe begins and the World Title to finally be decided. Check out the interview with Joel and insight from the world's best into who'll take the crown.
The final 15 were pretty well set coming into the ASP WQS 6-Star PRIME O’Neill World Cup, but Dusty powered from 18th to 9th, pushing out Joan Duru, who was tied with Blake Thornton. Fortunately for Blake, on a countback, the Australian stayed in the ASP WQS Top 15, qualifying for the 2010 ASP World Tour.
Daniel Ross (Wooloweyah, AUS), 25, has handidly won the 2009 ASP World Qualifying Series (WQS), further cementing his reputation as one of the most dangerous surfers on the 2010 ASP Dream Tour and emphatically announcing his comeback to the world’s elite.
