“My head has healed fine and hopefully I'm in the final stages of my wrist healing,” Gilmore said. “It's been about six weeks, but I'm yet to have a surf as I haven't received the go ahead from the doctors. I'll be sure to have some extra support for my wrist whilst competing and it'll be fine. My goal this season is to change the drama that ended 2010 plus so many things have happened in the last few months I haven't even had the time to think about the tour, so I'm extremely excited to have almost a fresh beginning to my career at this point.”
