With Nathaniel, Chris, and Tim in for sure, and Pat and Josh pretty much there as well, that leaves a lot of slots still open.
From the ASP Rulebook on qualification: “The Top 27 men from the current year-end WCT ratings will re-qualify for the following year WCT tour. The remaining 15 surfers will come from the WQS current year-end ratings. In addition to the 42 surfers as listed will be 6 wild cards. These wild cards are to be distributed as follows: 3 to the Event and 3 to the Surfers.”
It gets a bit confusing with who qualifies sometimes because there are often overlaps with the top 27 and those who qualify from the 'QS.
But as it is now, who do you see as making the step into the big leagues next year? Will they be able to cut it on Tour?
