I'm looking into getting a stretch quad and I had been planning on custom-ordering one from the factory, but I found one on craigslist that is almost exactly what I was looking for for about half the price of a new one.  I was just wondering if anyone had anything to say one way or the other.  I've had bad experiences buying used boards in the past (even though I knew what to look for), I just don't know if I could pass up the offer ($450 - $470 ish depending what he wants for the fins), especially considering (after getting fins and a tail pad) I'd be looking at dropping almost a grand on a new one.
