Come support the Campaign for Abandoned & Homeless Youth and hang out at a sweet all-ages, all day event on May 2nd!

It's called the Elemental Experience and it combines live music, live art, volleyball, an artist village, of course a huge beer garden, food vendors, a bikini and fashion show and a second d.j. stage.  Our solar-powered main stage will host the following lineup: Matisyahu, Pinback, Mason Jennings, Dirty Sweet, Bassnectar, the Knee-Highs, Pete and J, Jay Nash…

Urban Corps volunteers will be helping us keep trash separate recyclables and if the city agrees, we'll be composting waste as well.

The event kicks off at 11 a.m. with a 5K Homeless Youth Awareness Walk from De Anza Cove (near Crown Point) to the Hilton and back.

This event is part of our fundraising campaign to raise $500K to build the first-ever emergency shelter and program base for homeless youth in SD ages 18 - 24.  San Diego Youth Services is our partner in the project.  Surfers can also get involved in the Campaign to help spread awareness and raise funds throughout the remainder of 2009.
