What's with the crazy dominance this year? The new girlfriend? New boards? Surfing lots of Rincon? Yes, we know he's the best surfer of all time, but this is getting kind of ridiculous. Any other theories?

Bottom line is, if he takes it this year then he's gotta go for 10,,, which at this point seems totally possible with the way he’s been waxing the competition. Like it or not, he’s great for the sport and a dam good spokesman. S
