I was transplanting some seedlings the other day zoning out on my iPod when Fleet Foxes came on and I started thinking, “Just what is the best surfing music out there?”
So I came up with this list of old tunes/videos. What am i missing?

Very cool! That is a great piece of history there. You are missing the Beach Boys though. :) Beach Boys - Surfin' USA !

Thx for the props. The Beach Boys are so big that they are the first group you think about when you think old-school surfing music. They really don't need to be on this list. I was looking more toward those forgotten guys who still rock out playing street fairs. I guess I could have thrown in some Jan and Dean…
