Sr. Buyer

POSITION OVERVIEW:

Manage merchandising, assortments and buying.

·         Buy merchandise for mens, ladies and accessories across all action sports brands.

·         Analyze history and current business in order to strategically forecast future opportunities.

·         Maintain knowledge of market conditions regarding price, resources and fashion as they relate to trends and key items, and react accordingly to impact sales.

·         Negotiate and make decisions to buy.

REQUIREMENTS:

·         Associates or Bachelors degree preferred

·         2-4 years action sports buying experience required

·         Understanding of surf marketing and customer demographics required

·         Internet E-Tailing experience a plus

·         Must have strong computer skills, Microsoft Office

·         Must have strong analytical, planning, and communication skills

·         Must have an in depth knowledge of action sports brands and trends
