Patagonia Surf Shop
2185 San Elijo Ave., Cardiff by the Sea

Former southern California surfing standout Tom Wegener moved to Australia in the late Œ90s, where he settled down to start a family and a surfboard business. Over the past decade, Tom has focused his craft around building hollow, wooden boards and has poured a ton of work and research into riding ancient Hawaiian surfcraft known as alaias. Join Tom for a slide show and video about wood boards and the speed and thrill of riding a flat piece of wood without any fins. See http://www.tomwegenersurfboards.com for more.

Admission is free. Seating is first-come first-served with areas for standing room only. The event is outdoors so please dress appropriately.
