Fresh Australian surf trunk and apparel brand Rhythm out of Burleigh Heads,
Australia is continuing it's entrée into the US market with it's first appearance at Surf Expo.

U.S. Brand Manager Jye Townend states “We've had a solid first season for our
debut at ASR September with our '09 Spring line and look to use this momentum
and move this into growth on the East Coast at Surf Expo with the '09 Summer
line.”

That said Jye says “You'll find it in for Spring in Harbor Surfboards, HSS, Infinity, Island Surf, Mitch's, O'Neill SC, Rusty Boardhouse's, Sakal, South Coast, Sun Diego, Surf Club, Surf Hut,   Swell, Thalia St, and ZJ's in California and Sweetwater was the first place an order from the East.”

Trunks are the basis of the Rhythm line as well and innovative treatments for
walk-shorts like (the attached) printed screened walkies which are a category
leader in the Australian market in that's in the middle of their summer.

On the surf trunk side, “The One Piece” is a forward thinking boardshort made from one piece of cloth. “This is a patent pending design that we developed
from scratch with the benefit of our father(Peter “Tang the Tailor” Grey) who
has been tailoring surf-trunks for over 35 years. because he loves it,” says Jamahl Grey the head General Manager of Rhythm International and in charge of design and merchandizing.

On the team-rider front, Rhythm Rhyders's   Kieren Perrow returned to the WCT
'Dream Tour” in '08 after a three year absence and finished a solid 17th while hell-man Ryan HipWood won the first Tow-In event of the year with tow partner Bra Boy Kobi Abberton in Chile and is on call for the next two-in event at Jaws on Maui.
