HONOLULU (August 7, 2009) – World-renowned fine artist Dalek (James Marshall) will showcase original, never-before-seen pieces in 2D: The Art of 2Day– an art exhibit at the SoHo Mixed Media Bar, on Friday, August 7 to benefit The Contemporary Museum (TCM). These pieces will be available for purchase alongside various limited-edition products designed by Dalek.
In4mation and Dalek designed a limited edition T-shirt and print to commemorate this historic event and benefit TCM. With every T-shirt purchase the consumer will receive a one-year individual membership at TCM– Hawai‘i’s only museum devoted exclusively to contemporary art. There are only 100 t-shirts and 50 prints available. In addition, a pair of Hurley boardshorts featuring the artwork of Dalek will also be available for purchase at 2D: The Art of 2day and online at http://www.in4mants.com<http://www.in4mants.com> .

This event coincides with the First Friday Art Walk in August and is sponsored by In4mation, Contrast Magazine, Hurley International, Rum Fire and Sheraton Waikiki as a benefit for The Contemporary Museum.
In the week preceding 2D: The Art of 2Day, Dalek created 14 original pieces of art in Honolulu exclusively for sale at the show.
