Honolulu– (Thursday, July 2, 2009) –– Tomorrow at 1 p.m. pro surfer Kekoa Cazimero will release his signature, limited-edition Hurley board shorts at Hawaiian Island Creations store located in Ala Moana Center on the first floor. DJ Lion Lion Of Judah will also be spinning on the 1’s and 2’s and free Vitamin Water will be available.

 

With every purchase of the Hurley Koa Boy board shorts, customers will receive a Riding With Koa DVD. Part of the proceeds of the sale of the board shorts will go to the Koa Tree Foundation which is a non-profit organization founded by Kekoa Cazimero dedicated to advancing the sport of surfing in Hawai‘i by giving amateur surfers education and travel grants. 

 

Cazimero will also announce the Ride With Koa Surf Trip entry process and be available for autographs and pictures at 1 p.m. at HIC Ala Moana during the release of the Koa Boy Hurley board shorts. The first three people to fill out the entry forms at HIC Ala Moana will automatically be finalists. Finalists must be 18 and over to win.

 

There will be ten finalists total and the seven other finalists will be qualified through Island 98.5 FM and Star 101.9 FM on July 25, 2009. Cazimero will introduce the Ride With Koa Surf Trip winner at the Hurley Store in the Ward Entertainment Center on August 1, 2009 at 7 p.m. Finalists must be present to win.
