Irvine, CA – (12/17/2008): Element Eden Advocate Amber B has embarked on a mission to give back to youth on her return from the successful showing of her talents at Colette in Paris. See elementeden.com/amberB/ for the full story. One of the creatures from this event named Black Blood is up for auction to generate funding for non-profit organization Elemental Awareness.
Amber recently tagged along to witness a group of kids visit the Element office in Irvine, CA on an Elemental Awareness career day field trip. The group were given a behind the scenes tour by Elemental Awareness director Todd Larson, who showed them around the office and introduced them to the many artists who design everything from garments to skateboard graphics.
Amber remarked “You could see the inspiration on their beautiful little faces and it made me realize how much I loved my creative job. I was so inspired as to how EA was motivating these kids to reach for their goals that I decided then and there that I wanted to contribute what I could to support EA to continue offering these kind of opportunities to kids & communities.” Read more about EA and it’s programs here: elementalawareness.org/
About Element Skateboards: In 1992 the Element seed was planted. Our goal was simple, to be the best we could be, in the most honest and ethical way possible. We joined together to elevate what we all truly believe in. Today, we continue to create the art, direction and message on a constant path to bring progress to skateboarding. We are more than a business; we are a family, all on the same journey for the growth with-in ourselves, Element and all that surrounds us.
