Congratulations to South Carolina knockout Melissa Littlejohn! I laugh that her only ‘occupation’ is modeling… sure, she’s smokin’ hot. But she really isn’t doing anything besides relying on her looks? Or using her influence as a model to speak out for a cause? TW Surf, I hate to break it to you, but there are a shload (and yes, it’s a word) of gorgeous gals out there who happen surf, model AND own companies/run companies/run charities/run marathons for charities/plan to leave their own unique mark on the world — I would hope to see someone who celebrates more than her physical beauty as your next Miss TW Surf Whatever… she probably won’t be submitting her own name in the running.

M, here’s how this works, ok. It’s called the Miss TW Surf Model Search, not the Miss America Pagent. This model search has no need for morals, ethics or character judging when it comes to girls. No one is asking them to save the world. We all know only surfers can do that… The contest only requires that they send in really good photos of themselves to determine who is hot, who is not! You want in on the fame game? C’mon in, the water’s fine. So either put up, or shut up!
