The 2008 Quiksilver in Memory of Eddie Aikau Opening Ceremony kicked off on a beautiful afternoon at Waimea Bay. The surf was absolutely perfect all day and at the end of the moving ceremony and the paddle circle, the invited competitors all shared a few fun waves at the bay.
