Machado, Slater, Curren, and O’Connell Drop Into Santa Barbara To Help Raise Money For Mexico’s First Green School – Costa Verde International School In Sayulita Mexico.
Surf Inspired Auction Items Including Photography, Surfboards, Hard Goods, And High End Travel Packages Helped Raise Money For The School.
The Tom Curren Band and Redswitch rocked the crowd on State Street last Thursday as attendees bid on many one-of-a-kind auction items.
The event raised funds for Costa Verde International School, which was founded by fashion photographer Anne Menke and her husband Johann Ackerman to give local kids an opportunity to get the best education possible. CVIS is located in Sayulita, a popular surf town in Mexico.
Surf side bites were provided by Wahoos Tacos and Drinks by 360 Vodka and Kenneth-Crawford Wines.
