Three Shark Attacks In Three Days At New Smyrna

NEW SMYRNA BEACH — For the third day in a row, a surfer was bitten by a shark.

As reported on www.cfnews13.com

A shark swimming just off New Smyrna Beach, Florida

The Volusia County Beach Patrol said the 19-year-old was in the water when he was bitten on his left foot Thursday.

The victim was treated at the scene and then left the beach with a friend.

The teen is now the 19th shark bite victim in Volusia County this year.

The record for the county was 22 bites in 2001.
