Missing Surfer

— A surfer was reported missing Monday morning at the Sebastian Inlet.

As of 11 a.m., officials were searching for the missing surfer, who was last seen about an hour previous. No other details about the surfer were released.

The U.S. Coast Guard, Indian River County Sheriff’s Office, Indian River County Fire Rescue and Florida Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission were being called to assist. Local officials were calling for marine and helicopter units to assist.
