Wednesday saw the start of the meat-and-potatoes divisions of Easterns: the kids. Though Hatteras was a bit smaller today, the Banks still had something to offer. Ladies Longboard, Open Bodyboard, and Open Mens Shortboard all held finals today, but you and the rest of the world will have to wait for the announcements of the winners till Saturday. 3-15 is Jose' Carlos. Wow wooo…..that guy killed it all day and was primed for this event. He deserved to be in that final. Love the latin expression in this photo!!!!!

3-12 is Garret Servis from dirty Jersey as if you couldn't tell from this ballz out slash barely holding on in the semi's! Dude Rips and really pieced it together in this year's inaugural appearance at the Easterns Championships. Will he be back????

3-7 Mallory Turner obviously rips longboard clinching a 1st time win out in California at the US Championships in Huntington Beach. Hey, by the way…she surfs shortboard as well. Um yeh, she ripped it too shreads on Tuesday during the Women's Final. Wow! Watch this girl….she is on fire!!!

3-19 Hector Santamaria….say that 10 times real fast. This up and coming star is was ripping those same turns wether it was a small inside wave or an out the back bomber. Did I fail to mention that he can air at any moment? His arsenal is in his back pocket and has yet to be brought.
