A ten-foot Great White shark bitten nearly in half.
According to a report in the www.nydailynews.com/news a ten-foot Great White was bit in half by a “monster shark” which experts are predicting to be a Great White.
Hooked by a drum line, the “smaller” Great White was nearly bitten in half while hooked on a drum line offshore of the popular surf spot, Stradbroke Island.
According to one expert, cannibalism is nothing new for Great Whites, “That cannibal thing is what great whites do; they’ll eat anything, including their own kind,” Hugh Edwards, a local shark expert, told Australia’s 7 News. “It would be sensible not to swim in that area for a little while.” Well no shit Sherlock…
