In fun French beachbreak surf, local boy Maxime Huscenot won this year’s Quiksilver King of The Groms title over a talented international contingent. With a total heat score of 17.17, Huscenot barely piped Australian Matt Banting who rang up a 17.16, a hundredth of a point short.

Rounding out the final were American supergrom Kolohe Andino in third, and Alex Dive from New Zealand in fourth. Huge congrats to everyone who made it to France for the King Of The Grom world titles, and especially Maxime Huscenot.
