The period allocated to the Reef Hawaiian Pro started November 12 and runs through the 23rd.
“Those were the most stressful last five minutes of my life,” continued Jensen. "I have been doing this since I was 17 and I’ve come really close before so finally to put it away is a good one for sure.”
2012 will be a unique year for the Rip Curl Pro Search, with the event being removed from the ASP calendar to allow Rip Curl an 18-month 're-search' period to find and prepare a new location for 2013.
The Hawaiian Air show will award 250,000 Hawaiian Airlines miles to one surfer who executes the most exceptional single aerial maneuver of the Vans Triple Crown series.
Notably absent from the 2012 ASP World Title Series schedule is the Rip Curl Pro Search, but the event will return in 2013.
