After a decade of bitter rival status, Kelly Slater and Andy Irons come together and surf off their differences. Nobody was expecting this trip to happen. To get two seemingly mortal enemies to agree to sequester themselves on a tiny island with a half-dozen cameramen, a Hollywood interviewer capable of conjuring up tears during any interview, and an in-the-know magazine staff waiting with bated breath seemed like a ridiculous notion.
Despite hectic schedules, preconceived notions, and the most heated rivalry in modern surf history, somehow it all came together. The end result was a ten-day purge of feelings, emotional baggage, dispelling rumors, talking it out, and a burying of the hatchet once and for all. Oh, we nearly forgot to mention that the waves were insane!

It definitely wasn’t as good as I thought it was going to be. Too bad.

If you went to the premiere’s in California you saw the first cut of the film. We’ve added about 20 minutes of new footage, including vintage Kelly and Andy footage from their childhood. It’s a whole new film. Worth the price.

$15 for a download is a joke, try charging $4.99 That is much less laughable

the premier’s what? Seriously, seems pricey for a download. Who’s doing the elasticity analysis over there?

Agreed. How do you get two of the best surfers ever, put them in really good waves, and yet manage to come up with a video that isn’t just boring but even a bit annoying at times?!?
Answer: waaayyy too much dialogue and old rehashed footage that has been in circulation for ages.
Nobody buys surf videos to listen to substandard intellects talk tough (especially when neither is known to be much for pugilism).
I regretted buying this thing in the first five minutes.
Too much hype, far too little action.
