TransWorld SURF Senior Photog Chris Straley, Jamie O’Brien, Ben Bourgeois, Sean Moody, and Paul Fisher score perfect barrels on a recent trip to the Caroline Islands.

P-Pass quick hits:

Located on the northwest side of Pohnpei, P-Pass breaks way offshore and is only really accessible via the Pohnpei Surf Club—the only surf resort on the island.

Mostly known for P-Pass, Pohnpei is also host to several more excellent waves.

P-Pass generally breaks during the months between September and April.

The fishing is world class

Yeah boys. Waves and photos look sick. Wish I was watching from the boat in the channel!

Dang straley. Swimming out in some big shit. Good job dude.

There is now another surf camp on Pohnpei called Palikir Marine Adventures, a much better choice than PSC. Palikir Marine Adventures is locally owned by a Pohnpei family and is run by two Aussies who charge anything; the camp is 5 mins. from Palikir, unlike PSC, which is 25. Plus PMA is cheaper, cleaner, newer, and better-run.

chaeper, cleaner, newer and better run…good luck !
    Been there, done both.
both are operated by locals and americans.
one is way more profewssional and business oriented.
