While notoriously fickle and dependent on Pacific Ocean generated typhoons for major swell action, there are over 7,000 islands in the Philippine archipelago—making for an amazing amount of potential. Here’s some sickies from a trip TransWorld SURF’s newest senior photographer Zak Noyle did last fall with the likes of Mikala Jones, Jason Shibata (both of Filippino heritage) Bol from Bali, Macy Mullen, and Rob Patterson from the Big Island of Hawaii. Most of the places these guys surfed have not been seen by prying eyes…until now.
