Despite hectic schedules, preconceived notions, and the most heated rivalry in modern surf history, somehow it all came together. The end result was a ten-day purge of feelings, emotional baggage, dispelling rumors, talking it out, and a burying of the hatchet once and for all. Oh, we nearly forgot to mention that the waves were insane! … ”

Thse two should’ve taken a few hours to try and outdo each other for the Kuston Air $50K. That would’ve been an insane side story to the trip. I’ll bet one of them would’ve eventually pulled something that would contend for the money. Kelly would’ve probably created a new manuever trying, maybe including a 540.

Andy has really matured, i dont think theres any way he would have agreed to this 3-5 years ago. He still HATES losing and has that bad boy streak in him but that’s what i like about, a bit of mongrel.
Only one way to describe Kelly - all class.
