Web Site Review: www.goboarding.com
We’ve been hearing a lot about the newest boardsporting buy/sell hub Goboarding.com lately, so we figured we’d check it out for ourselves.
With the economy in shambles, everyone is pinned up against a wall regarding personal budgets. More and more people are trying to figure out supplementary means of income, and with the popularity of sites like eBay, Craigslist, and Rerip, it only seems natural for a site geared towards the buying and selling of used surf products. It’s a great idea for anyone looking to find a new stick or clear out some space on the rack.
Goboarding.com is set up to be very user-friendly and is organized by surf, skate, or snowboarding goods. Under each category there’s possible selections of types of board, fins, boardbags, wetsuits, and even memorabilia.
As a buyer you can browse through the selections and then contact the seller directly via email and set things up on your own terms, which makes it personable and flexible to your schedule. As a seller all you have to do is register, for free, and start listing your extra sticks, wetsuits, and other gear you’ve got lying around.
Things we liked:
- user-friendly
- simple to register
- lets you get in touch with the seller
- helps to recycle boards and find them a new home
Things that could be improved:
- expand listings
- ability to narrow down a search
Overall, if you’re short on cash or in need of a new-to-you board, then www.Goboarding.com can help you get what you need.

I posted a board on this site a couple months ago and it sold overnight. Two weeks later I posted a wetsuit and it took over a week. Not sure what that means? But the site worked fine for me. J

Harry.
What do you mean “sold them all for free” ??? Do you mean that you didn’t charge people? Of the site didn’t charge you?
