The team Hurley roster for the 2008 Cali Rally was led by Kahea and Nohorai Hart from Hawaii, Eric Soderquist and Zach Hartley from Central California, Peter Devries from Canada, Scotty Stopnik from Newport Beach, and Michael Dunphy from Virgina Beach. Background info on the Cali Rally…

The inaugural Transworld SURF The Cali Rally was done last July and featured four teams (Volcom, Billabong, …Lost, and Hurley) of four surfers plus a team manager, photographer and videographer. They were given a book of challenges that varied from making out with a cougar to surfing naked at Steamer Lane to riding a wave across the US/Mexico border. Needless to say, it was chaotic, scary, disgusting, and more fun than anyone could have foreseen.
