HOSSEGOR, France (Wednesday, September 24, 2008) – A champion will be crowned at the Quiksilver Pro France today. Kelly Slater (USA) is capable of clinching his ninth ASP World Title today too.

Round 4 of the event will commence at 8:30am in four to six foot (two to three metre) waves at Les Estagnots. Should Slater make it past Taylor Knox (USA) in Heat 4 of Round 4, all attention will then shift to World No. 2 Taj Burrow (AUS) going head to head with rookie Dane Reynolds (USA).

If Burrow bows out in Round 4 or the Quarterfinals, Slater must win the Quiksilver Pro France to clinch today.

Twin brothers C.J. and Damien Hobgood will also go head to head in the last heat of Round 4.

Watch it all LIVE on aspworldtour.com and quiksilverlive.com.
