Shark Attack Survivor Visit Boston Amputees

One of the most inspiring people we know, Mike Coots, recently made his way to Boston area hospitals to visit victims of the Boston Marathon bombing. Coots, who lost his leg to a shark in 1997, talked to fellow amputees as they recovered in the hospital, giving them hope that they too can lead a normal life. A member of Friends Of Bethany Hamilton and esteemed photographer, Coots had this to say to the local media about the experience, “I’ve pretty much been able to do everything that everyone else can do. There are absolutely no limits to what you can and cannot do. Just keep your chin up, and remember—the world supports you.”
