The 2013 Surfing Photography Workshop, taught by Brian Bielmann and Michael Clark, was our best yet. In mid-February, we had 8 participants in our 4-day Surf Photography Workshop on the North Shore of Oahu. It was a rocking good time and we had both incredible models and big waves to work with during the workshop as you will see in the images above. While the waves were a little too big to get participants in the water, we shot from the beach extensively at Pipeline and Rocky Point. During the workshop, we shot morning and evening in the best light, shot lifestyle as well as action images, spent a few hours each day critiquing images, played with a few underwater housings, and discussed digital workflow in detail. Basically, we packed as much as possible into a 4-day period.—Michael Clark

If you would like to sign up for the workshop we will be doing the Surfing Photography Workshop in Hawaii again this fall from October 31st to November 3rd. For more information or to register for the workshop check at michaelclarkphoto.com
