This point probably breaks once every 5 years. As far as I know it's never been surfed. This was a massive windswell in the Gulf of St. Lawrence. Crazy to see a wave like this with only a few hundred kilometres of fetch behind it.


Canadian pro surfer Nico Manos has spent his life scouring the nooks and crannies of eastern Canada in search of perfect surf. And while the area can kill your spirit with flat spells, bitter cold, and extreme tides, if you know where to be and when—like Nico does—amazing surf can be found especially during hurricane season. Here’s a look at what Nico came across during the 2-12 ‘cane season. Not bad, eh?
